Narrative:
On July 16, 2017, Channel Islands airline Aurigny experienced disruptions when their only jet aircraft, an Embraer ERJ-195STD (ERJ-190-200), operating flight GR600 to Guernsey sustained damage on the ground at London-Gatwick Airport. The incident occurred when rear steps hit the side of the plane. As a result, the jet was out of action for several days, prompting the airline to bring in a replacement aircraft (reportedly an ATR-72-212A). Passengers traveling during that time were advised to check the airline’s website for updates. Aurigny apologized to customers and worked diligently to minimize disruption while assessing the extent of the damage

According to ITV Channel TV news, G-NSEY returned to service on 18 July 2017
