Narrative:
The helicopter, a with pilot and 4 passengers on board and with a snowmobile attached to the helicopter by a metal cable, flew to a private field located in the hamlet of San Martino di Sarentino (BZ). Shortly after approaching the ground, when with almost zero translational speed, the main rotor blades made contact with the sloping ground covered with snow. This caused the helicopter to tip over, which, once on the ground, began to catch fire. The occupants were able to abandon the helicopter on their own, saving themselves before the fire ignited following the accident, which completely destroyed the helicopter. Rescue services arrived at the scene of the accident approximately 20' after the incident occurred. As a result of the e
vent, one of the passengers was seriously injured from the impact he suffered on impact with the ground.

Causes:
The accident is attributable to a loss of control of the helicopter, which occurred while it was a few metres above the ground and at very low speed, following contact between the main rotor and a sloping part of the ground. The pilot's lack of experience in performing HESLO operations, the white out generated by the flow of the main rotor and a probable unforeseen configuration of the helicopter's centring probably contributed to the accident.
