Narrative:
The propeller of a Cessna P206 Super Skylane desintegrated during takeoff at Kamarang Airport (KAR/SYKM), Cuyuni-Mazaruni region.
The pilot was not injured.

CASUAL FACTORS / PROBABLE CAUSE
a. The propeller blade was probably separated from the hub due to fatigue failure caused by erosion due to rubbing, and pitting and cracks, observed (during examination) on the hub, retention nut, blade root and threads.
b. The hub with the other propeller blade still attached to it broke off from the engine flange due to severe vibrations caused by imbalance after one of the propeller blades became detached from the hub.
c. The engine mounts and cowlings were damaged due to the extreme vibrations when one of the propeller blades became detached from the hub.
d. Gouges on the Runway were caused by high velocity impact when the propeller parts hit the surface after they were
detached from the engine.
e. The tips of the propeller blades were probably bent due to high velocity impact with the hard asphalt Runway surface
when the blades and hub were detached from the engine.
