Narrative:
F-AIEE Bleriot-Spad 56/3 (MSN 4211/1); first registered 2.8.26 (C of R 1562) to Cie Air Union, Paris/Le Bourget. C of T in 3.28 when upgraded to Bleriot-Spad 56/4.

Written off (damaged beyond repair) 17.1.31: Aircraft was operating a cargo/mail flight (routed Paris – Lyon – Marseille). On descent to Lyon-Bron Airport, pilot lost control of the aircraft following an inflight fire. Aircraft crashed and came to rest upside down in a field located in Genas. The pilot was injured and the aircraft was destroyed. It is possible the engine fired in flight.
