Narrative:On 3 April 2022, the Russian Air Force Sukhoi Su-35S s/n RF-81752, code 61 red of the 159th Fighter Aviation Regiment, was shot down by Ukrainian forces and crashed between the villages of Pisky-Radkivski and Nyzhche Solone, Izyum Rayon, Kharkiv Oblast. The pilot, major Sergei Malov, ejected safely and was trying to escape, but was apprehended more than 10 km from the crash site. He was released in a POW exchange on 6 May 2023.
