Narrative:
A Sukhoi Su-27 fighter jet of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force was damaged after hitting debris on the runway at Ozerne Air Base. The debris was caused as a result of a missile strike conducted by forces of the Russian Federation.

The aircraft was later spotted by French journalist Guillaume Ptak being transported by road. The aircraft seen on the back of the trailer had its wings, vertical stabilisers and landing gear had been removed, and the canopy of the aircraft was missing. As all other Su-27 aircraft accidents to this date were accounted for, this allowed the positive identification of the aircraft that was damaged on 24 February 2022 as bort no. 39 Blue, as identified by its digital camouflage pattern. In particular, the small blue 'r" piece just aft of the radar warning marking on the port side should be noted, which appears to be unique to this aircraft.
