Narrative:
The DHC-8-402Q Dash 8 veered off the runway into the safety zone. There were no damages to the aircraft, and no injuries. One approach light was damaged.

The cause of the serious aviation incident was the crew's violation of paragraph 3.90 of FAP-128, which consists of not making the decision to go around in case of loss of reliable visual contact with ground references. This led to the aircraft veering off the runway.
