The Shorts 360-100 aircraft struck a donkey during takeoff from Las Piedras-Josefa Camejo Airport (LSP), Venezuela.
The flight continued to the destination, Aruba-Reina Beatrix Airport (AUA). During landing the right-hand main gear partially collapsed.
