Narrative:
On May 25, 2024, about 0645 central daylight time, a Pulsar Super 100 airplane, N912GR, was substantially damaged when it was involved in an accident at the Rochelle Municipal Airport / Koritz Field (RPJ), Rochelle, Illinois. The pilot sustained minor injuries. The airplane was operated as a Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 91 personal flight.

The pilot stated that the purpose of the flight was to transition to a nearby airport to perform touch-and-go landings. The pilot reported that after departing runway 25 he experienced a partial loss of engine power about 800 ft above ground level (agl). He entered a left downwind and returned to land on the departure runway. The airplane landed short of the runway and the nose landing gear separated when it hit a low spot in the grass. The airplane continued onto the runway for about 100 ft, then came to rest nose down in the grass off the left side of the runway. The airplane sustained substantial damage to its fuselage.
