Narrative:Mission : Anti-Shipping. Took off from RAF Wattisham at 11:45 hrs local time.
Hit by Flak in the starboard engine while running into attack a convoy and seen to crash in the sea. The victory was credited to the 13. Vorpostenflottille. Flt Lt Namiss has no known grave and he is commemorated on the Runnymede Memorial; his crew are buried in Crooswijk General Cemetery at Rotterdam:
